July 1-4...Monday-Thursday mild weather...Gigi is now back on a diet of Pro Plan Beef and Buffalo
note: fireworks in the backyard on the 4th, monthly worming & tick "meds"
July 5-6....Friday-Saturday...highs in the middle 70's
July 7..Sunday upper 70's ...beginning a steady routine of training with Gigi (tomorrow)...Her digestive issues appear to be improving....Pounce is on a steady plan of simply staying in shape. Gigi MAY begin running AKC Senior tests...not sure (maybe in a month). It depends more about whether my health/physical issues can deal with the chronic fatigue and how hot it gets. Training early in the morning may be the only approach. I updated my COVID shot two days ago and my shoulder is still very sore. It is worse than anytime before.
July 8...Monday..78°F
July 9...Tuesday...high in the low 80's...day off for Pounce and Gigi ran a variation of the eight bumper lining drill with six bumpers in two directions. A complication was "made" for her by placing a green canvass bumper (#5 in the line) and she did not "fall" for it...even though it was difficult to see. The bumpers were then placed back in line and she ran them in the opposite direction. She enjoys training and the front yard avoids traveling to another grassy area in the van. We were back in the cool house quickly.
"I'm beginning to learn that 95% OB
is not enough...and 85% is much
worse......but 75% is pretty good."

July 10-31...weather too warm to train (for me)...human chronic fatigue is a continuous struggle. Gigi and Pounce seem to have adjusted to simply being house dogs.
